First student to finish all Pass Offs will receive Trophy. All students who finish pass offs will receive achievement medal
12 MAJOR SCALE PASS OFFS (Memorized/one octave)
Concert Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, F, C, G, D, A, E, B, Gb
First student to finish all Pass Offs will receive Trophy. All students who memorize 12 major scales will receive achievement medal. If all Advanced Band Students pass off 12 major scales, we will have a end of semester class celebration.
PRACTICE RECORD TIME COMPETITION
Student who brings in signed, weekly practice records will be in the running for the PRACTICE RECORD TIME competition. The student with the most minutes from September-December will receive the Practice Record Trophy.
STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Each week one STS Band Member will be selected as the student of the week. This student possess all the the traits of a great STS Band member (leadership, prepared, on time, follows all classroom rules, courteous and respectful to others)
This student will receive a STUDENT OF THE WEEK CERTIFICATE and STUDENT OF THE WEEK Pencil. The Certificate will be displayed in the classroom for the entire week. At the end of the week, the student may take the certificate home.
CHAIR TEST AUDITIONS SEPTEMBER 23rd/25th :(chair test and graded)
We will split these auditions into two days, this will allow us playing time each rehearsal
